After finding out that this awesome craft brewery in Japan is shutting down to donate food toward the relief fund.. Three Penny Taproom did this!
"So, it is truly amazing that a for-profit business would suspend their brewing to bottle water and cook food for those in need! We were also alerted to the fact that a container with their beer had already left Japan for the US before the disaster struck. So, what we have decided to do is join forces with their importer, B United, and our distributor, G Housen, to have a fund raiser for the Brewery's Tsunami/ Earthquake Relief Fund. We have chosen next Thursday, the 31st, for some fund-raising fun! We will have Hitachino beer on tap, as well as a special on Hitachino bottles for the event, with all proceeds from the sales going to help those in need!! If you have been looking for ways to help, this is your best, and probably most fun, chance to give!!!
