If you haven't heard of the peak races you should cause they're nuts. My friend just finished one of there snow shoe marathons this week in Pittsfield Vt. And i got to go down.
Crazy thing was there were more races going on including, a snowshoes 50, 100, and a death race.. Where they dont tell you what you are in for until the actual race. This on included running up a mountain gathering enough rocks to make a rock sculpture that was like a A YARD STICK tall. and then running and jumping in a lake??? there was like a 50 yr old woman doing it! dammmnnnn
Anyways this is the same place that the Vermont 50k is being held where three of my friends are racing in it come june.. SWEET.
