Running and then some..

On top of running today (which was an awesome and relaxing 5 miles) i realised that i have been listening to some great music lately! I amped up with some Jay-z black album. But got into my runlistening to Local Natives.. awesome band. A new band ive been listening to alot lately is one that recently came to the cafe where i work called The Lumineers. They were an ultra blast and had a great stage presence! I actually bought 2 cd's..

Later this week a band called the Stereofidelics are coming who are a young (22?) married couple. The girl plays the drums and the fiddle at the same time and when i first saw them at NEKFM..North East Kingdom Music Festival.. i was totally blown away. The boy plays the guittar and the bass (with his feet). SO EXCITED

Session Americana.. americana music. will be at the cafe later this month! .they were up for a boston grammy with another great band.. The David Wax Museum Band (awesome) just did that show on NPR... they gave me an acoustic solo show for my birthday last year! (it was awesome)  The girl Sussie plays the donkey jaw bone.

okay too long of a blog im sure.. but good music can helps me be a better runner.. especially when ill ill here are cars until the trails clear up!! Happy listening.
